Hi Friends
Thank you so much for helping my family and I (sic) while we stayed there. You gave us free room and board... a nice room, counceling (sic), legal advice (Free!), encouragement, gifts, quilts for the children, access to washers, dryers, showers, baths, and so much more. Our stay was so helpful that my daughter asked that the next time we go to the Safehouse that we bring daddy. I asked her why she wanted to bring him to the Safehouse and she said that it would help him too. Wow, you’ve healed our whole family.
Thank you
This letter was sent with a $50 bill enclosed in the summer of 2007 after her stay at Crossroads.
In Northern Colorado, for 30 years, abused women and children have come to Crossroads Safehouse in Fort Collins. Here they have found safety, shelter, and the personal assistance and resources they need to build lives without violence.
Crossroads offers free safehousing, advocacy, legal assistance, transitional housing, and education. At our secure Safehouse we annually provide food, clothing, and support for over 300 residents. The Crossroads Outreach Center offices our administrative staff and is often the first contact point for donors, volunteers, and outreach clients. Each year we provide more than 15,000 units of service to thousands of clients and program attendees. In 2009, Crossroads sheltered an average of 42 individuals a night in our Safehouse and transitional housing units, for a total of 25,343 nights of service.
